Africa Sojourns - Day 9: The Hidden Strawberries of Cape Town

Jan. 5, 2018: Our first real "free" day... so we took advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The best meal yet! Took a jaunt to Table Mountain, which is one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. It's basically a large and beautiful mountain that's pretty flat on top (hence the name "table"). We did a few hiking trails on the mountain and enjoyed thin sliced pizza at the mountain cafe. Then we headed to Camp's Bay Beach (again) and fell asleep listening to the beach sounds (birds, waves, kids throwing cricket balls, African singing and dancing, fellow travelers speaking in multiple languages, sunscreen misting sounds, etc.). We ended our day at the hotel restaurant which is totes delish. Cape Town has strawberry patches - we saw some! - but none of their restaurants seem to have these elusive berries. Also... we got a little carried away with photos today. #photoshoot
